Adult Classes

With classes for both beginner and experienced dancers, adult students can get in shape and build confidence in a variety of dance styles.

Fundamentals Age 5 to 13

New students learn the fundamentals of dance in fun, age-appropriate programs that focus on establishing a strong foundation.

Program Levels

From late beginner through intermediate and advanced levels, students develop technique and artistry as they progress with Kinetic Dance Academy.

Pre: Ages 2 to 5

Helping preschoolers build a love for dance in a preparatory program that emphasizes learning classroom skills and having fun.

Strength

Students develop their fitness, physical strength, coordination and grace.

Physical Strength

Each student is trained as the athlete they are in every level. Strength, flexibility, and agility training is incorporated into all curriculum, coupled with recovery and nutrition education appropriate for the age/level.

Emotional Strength

Dance is more than physical. Dance can be expressive, it can vulnerable, it can be joyful. Every dancer is encouraged to showcase who they are with confidence and support.

Social Strength

Each dancer practices the social skills needed to approach any situation with confidence. We aim to develop leaders who are ready to take on every experience and opportunity.

Performances

At every level, dancers have opportunities to showcase their talent. As a dancer progresses to higher level programs, dancers will have the option to participate in our Holiday show or join our Performing or Competition Team. 

Whether you want to perform for your family, in the community, or on a stage, Kinetic ensures every dancer has the chance to shine.

We film in many classes, giving our students the chance to be part of our social media in professionally-produced videos.

Fundamentals Ages 5 to 13

Building a Strong Foundation

Every style offered in our Fundamentals Program is designed to give the dancers a strong base necessary to support them in the next level.

Ballet

The foundation to all other styles of dance. Our Instructors train the dancers in various methods of ballet to create a well rounded curriculum for the dancers to progress.

Hip-Hop

A high energy class that teaches rhythm, stalls, and mini routines to upbeat music, allowing each dancer to display their unique personality.

Acro Fundamentals

Similar to gymnastics, Acro focuses on building strength and flexibility necessary to perform tumbling or contortion movements such as (Chest stands, back walkovers, cartwheels etc.) As students progress, they learn to couple those movements with the rest of their dance training.

Jazz

Much like ballet, Jazz is a technique based style that is often danced to upbeat music such as pop, broadway, or some types of hiphop. Dancers learn the basics needed to perform different turns, leaps and kicks to incorporate into fun, high energy routines.

Contemporary/Lyrical

The ultimate form of expression. As a dancer builds experience in our more technical styles, they can progress to our contemporary and lyrical classes which take that knowledge to the next level. Routines in this style are meant to express immense emotion in all forms, but normally to a slower pace than hip hop or jazz.

Training for Fundamentals Through Advanced

We offer programs for dancers of all levels and ages. Whether you are brand new, have been training for years, or want to get back into it, we will find a perfect program for you.

Ballet

Dancers are trained in multiple methods of Ballet to allow the dancer to progress through this foundational style.

Hip-Hop

A high energy dance style to fast tempo music allowing for individual expression through stalls, routines and self choreo.

Acro

Similar to gymnastics, Acro is a style of dance focused on developing strength and flexibility necessary to perform different tumbling and contortion movements (cartwheels, back walkovers, chest stands etc.) As a dancer advances in this style, they couple those acrobatic movements with the rest of their dance training.

Jazz

Jazz Pom

This style is a combination of Jazz technique, dance team and NFL-style cheerleading.  It’s high energy and lots of fun.

Itty-Bitty: Ages 2 to 5

Nurturing a Love of Dance

Dancers in this Fundamental Program are taught the basics of dance and participate in exciting class activities designed to let their individuality shine!

Ballet/Movement

The goal of this class is to introduce these little ones to the world of dance! They get to try moves from a variety of styles to keep classes new and exciting while also helping develop habits to carry with them outside of the studio.
